British heavyweight veteran Derek Chisora added another win to his CV on Saturday night, defeating Joe Joyce.
The win is his 35th after 48 professional bouts, and the 40-year-old had said he was making his final appearance at the London O2.
Many had taken that to mean he would be stepping away from the sport after taking countless blows during a tough career.
“London, I love you,” said Chisora afterwards.
“I haven’t boxed in a year. Things were off a little bit. I was fit, but Joe is a good fighter. … I’m just happy that I’ve got loads of fans in London.”
Getting so close to his half century appears to have given Chisora the idea of fighting on until an even fifty, adding: “It’s not my last fight. I’ve got two more.”
