Adam Moralee, the manager of Joe Joyce, is happy to see his fighter share a ring with Dillian Whyte as he continues his rebuild.
Last year, Joyce looked set to become a major threat at heavyweight, but his momentum was halted when he was stopped twice by Zhilei Zhang.
Joyce returned to action last month and after an uneventful nine rounds against Kash Ali, he found the shot to end matters in the final round.
The 2016 Olympic silver medalist is still pursuing big fights, and a showdown with Whyte is a contest that appeals to his team.
“We love that fight, we think it’s a great fight for both fighters. I was speaking briefly to Dillian Whyte’s manager about it. I think the situation about Dillian’s ability to fight in the UK is unclear,” said Moralee when speaking to Seconds Out.
“If he can brilliant, if he can’t he can’t. That’s a terrific fight for Joe right now, just the fight we’re looking for, a good fight for both men.”
