Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua have no interest in pursuing a fight with Deontay Wilder.
That’s the verdict of John Fury, a man who knows Wilder extremely well after watching his son, Tyson, share the ring with the American three times.
Since back top back losses against Fury in 2020 and the following year, Wilder has only fought once, a one round knockout of Robert Helenius, but Fury Sr. believes he’s the fighter everyone is avoiding.
Wilder’s team have long been linked to a contest with Joshua for early next year, but Fury is insistent the leading names at heavyweight want no part of the Alabama man.
“They’re all terrified of him,” said Fury when speaking to DAZN via Freebets.com.
