Jose Pedraza is open to a rematch with Richard Commey after they fought to a draw on Saturday night.

The two super lightweights fought in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a split-decision draw followed more than 1,000 punches thrown by the pair.

The two thirty-something fighters were disappointed not to get a conclusive decision, but Pedraza, 33, said after the bout that he was open to a rematch and any other fight that might get him a shot at a title.

“I’ve never turned down a fight, and I’m not going to start now,” Pedraza said, reported BoxingScene.com. “Whatever Top Ranks wants for me. If they demand a rematch, I’m ready to give Richard Commey a rematch because he deserves one, and I have the utmost respect for him.

“Ultimately, my goal is to win a world title once again. Whatever I have to do, that’s what I’m willing to do.”

Commey had started brightly on Saturday night before the 35-year-old had to weather a comeback from his Puerto Rican opponent.
