Joseph Parker is excited to face Daniel Dubois next February for the IBF heavyweight title, admitting he has previously underestimated the Briton in his rise to the top.
The New Zealander will bid to become a two-time world champion when he meets his opponent at Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View next year.

Parker, who was the WBO heavyweight title holder between 2016 and 2018, has rebuilt his reputation with a series of impressive wins over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.
But ahead of facing Dubois, who has dispatched Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgović and Anthony Joshua in succession, he acknowledges that he has undersold his foe's pedigree.
"I’m excited to have the opportunity fight Daniel Dubois, and to do my best to become a two-time world champion," he told DAZN's The Ariel x Ade Show. "It will be so beautiful.
"Against Miller, I thought Miller. Then came Hrgović, and I thought Hrgović again. So I've been wrong three times. He's grown in confidence each and every time he gets in the ring.
"I was surprised in the way that he finished Joshua. I thought he would have done something different. But Dubois, all credit to him, he brought the best performance on the night."
Dubois recovered from a ninth-round KO defeat against Oleksandr Usyk in 2023, where he lost the WBA (Regular) heavyweight title to the Ukrainian, with some fine turns since.
The standout remains September's brutal fifth-round stoppage against former two-time champion Joshua at Wembley Stadium, legitimising his position as a premier contender.
