Joseph Parker reveals three options for next fight including world championDAZN

Joseph Parker has provided an update on his immediate future, and it could include a fight with Daniel Dubois.

Parker’s next move remains unknown following his loss to Joe Joyce last year but due to his standing as a former heavyweight champion and fights with Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, Parker’s popularity is still high.

With the heavyweight division currently home of some outstanding fighters, opportunities are aplenty, and Parker is eager to remain in the championship mix.

With Dubois holding a version of the WBA belt, a contest with the Londoner appeals to Parker, but the New Zealander also has other options he would consider exploring.

“There’s three names were looking at – Dubois, [Michael] Hunter and [Demsey] McKean,” said Parker when speaking with Seconds Out.

“I’m waiting on BOXXER to come up with a plan, to see if they can make the fight happen. I’m [also] talking with Frank Warren, to see if I can fight Dubois and McKean’s with Matchroom, so we’re just seeing which is the best option and which one we can make happen ASAP.

“For me, Dubois [would be my first choice] because he’s got that WBA regular belt. It would be nice to fight him. I’m sure I can break him down, I’m maybe too fast. Listen, he’s a quick fighter, but I’ll have a good game plan with Andy Lee, and I’ll be able to break his confidence."
