Josh Taylor has a huge fight on the horizon as he faces Teofimo Lopez this summer as he looks to defend his WBO super-lightweight title on June 10th in New York.
First, the unbeaten Scot will tune into next weekend’s eagerly anticipated clash between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia and if wither man decides to jump to 140lbs, Taylor could be the man to face.
Davis and Garcia finally square off after years of trading insults. With both enjoying a solid number of impressive wins throughout their respective careers, victory here will propel the winner to an altogether different level.
With many expecting an explosive encounter, Taylor is adamant that the fight goes the full distance.
“I see Tank winning that one,” said Taylor when speaking to Boxing Social. “I just think better boxing brain, better boxing ability, more power, cuter in the way he moves and better boxing IQ
“I don’t know about him stopping Garcia, I wouldn’t be surprised if he does but I’m going to maybe go for Tank on points.”
