Joshua Buatsi is aiming to win a world title in 2022.
The 28-year-old Briton has an unbeaten record of 15-0 (13KOs) and last fought Ricards Bolotniks at Fight Camp 2, recording another stoppage.
Keeping his unbeaten record has seen him linked with a step up from the WBA international light heavyweight to one of the major titles at 175lbs.
With fighters such as Dmitry Bivol, Artur Beterbiev and Joe Smith Jr. in possession of the four straps, a title will not come easily, but he has passed every test faced so far.
Speaking to the BBC, he outlined his ambitions.
"Personal responsibility is important to me," he said. "I don't map out a year. One goal that remains constant is to win. Just find a way to win. How does 2022 look? One of the aims is I want to win a world title.
"I can't say if it's going to be the first or second or third fight, but that year I want to win a world title. Hopefully that opportunity will come. I will give everything to take it."
He continued: "Don't try to live up to someone else's life. What you have is what you have. Live within your means. Don't kill yourself to impress."
As well as a title, Buatsi also suggested that British fighters in the division need to start making fights.
"I think we should all just get chucked in a boxing tournament that will last maybe a year and a half and all fight each other. Get it cracking. People want to see us fight each other," he explained..
"Myself, Callum Smith, Callum Johnson, Anthony Yarde, Dan Azeez - see now I've started a list here so I'm going to get myself in trouble. Other light heavies will say I don't rate them…
"Let's all get in there and mix it up. We all want the world title shot, but domestically we have something we could do here. Are we going to sit back at 40 and be like 'damn, we could have all fought each other?'
"I want to see how I do against these guys. Everyone is claiming they're number one. We've all won the British title before.
"There's a whole load of reasons everyone can say they're number one and we'll never know who is number one until we fight each other."
