The long-anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano takes place next month, and on Friday a new trailer promoting the fight was released.
Taylor and Serrano first met in April 2022 in a massive bout that saw Taylor successfully defend her undisputed world lightweight title against seven-weight champion Serrano. The 2022 fight, which was the first women's contest to headline Madison Square Garden, was omnipresent on Fight of the Year lists and rumours of a rematch started almost immediately, but the women went in separate directions as Serrano collected the undisputed women's featherweight title in her next contest while Taylor successfully defended the lightweight belts once more before facing Chantelle Cameron in a pair of bouts in 2023 that ultimately saw the 38-year-old claim the undisputed super lightweight title.
It is that title that's on the line on Nov. 15 in Texas as Taylor vs. Serrano 2 serves as the co-main event to Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson. Given the pedigree of both women, Taylor vs. Serrano 2 could very well steal the show.
