Amir Khan has accused British rival Kell Brook of being 'bitter' when it comes to the success he has enjoyed throughout his career.
The pair were involved in an intense press conference on Monday which saw the two former world champions butt heads and be dragged apart by security.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Khan claimed Brook is jealous of what he's achieved and insists it's his boxing ability which has brought success both inside and outside the ring.
"What I've done in the sport. The name I've got. You can see how bitter he is," Khan said.
"My celebrity status? That comes because of what I've achieved in the sport of boxing. It's not because of other things.
"I have put on great performances, won world titles, made a name for myself in America. It all comes from boxing.
"Now I know that he hates me, it will only make me train harder."
Khan and Brook will finally settle what has been a heated rivalry on February 19th 2022 when the two go head-to-head at the AO Arena in Manchester, England.
