Anthony Joshua wowed audiences with his destructive stoppage of Francis Ngannou earlier this month, but one of his rivals wasn't impressed.
Joshua dropped Ngannou in the opening session and after repeating the feat in the next round, he ended the bout shortly after with a devastating right hand.
The win was immediately compared to Tyson Fury’s performance against Ngannou, and some have given Joshua a huge chance against his fellow Brit.
Filip Hrgovic, the IBF number one contender could face Joshua at some point, and he’s had his say on his most recent win.
“I’m not so impressed. I thought it was going to end that way. That’s the way fights have ended,” said Hrgovic when speaking to IFL TV.
“A guy who has one fight fighting the former two-time heavyweight champion of the world. So that’s the way it should be. I was expecting something similar result.
“I’m not so impressed. I’m not sure what to be impressed with. Joshua did what he needed to do. So, it’s not a huge deal.”
