Lennox Lewis chose not to pick between Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker ahead of the pair's IBF heavyweight title fight next month, suggesting the bout is "fifty-fifty" right now.
The Briton will mount the latest defence of his belt against the former world champion at Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View on February 22.
Parker, who reigned as WBO holder for two years between 2016 and 2018, was chosen for a voluntary defence after Dubois stopped Anthony Joshua in September.
But Lewis, a legendary heavyweight in his own right, refused to back either man outright when asked at Monday's press conference in London on who he thought would win.
"I think it's going to be a great fight," he said at the pre-fight press conference. "I think the whole card is great. There are a lot of fifty-fifty fights. May the best man win.
"They've both got talent and it's really down to the mental and the physical [performance]. They're fighting at [the same] time, so whoever's got the best [will win]."
Dubois is looking to secure a victory that could well set up a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk after the latter defeated Tyson Fury to retain the other three belts in December.
But with the latter's sudden retirement and speculation the Ukrainian could either follow suit or return to cruiserweight, other options may be needed if he bests Parker.
Joshua, who was expected to face Fury this year, could be a credible option for the next dance, while the winner of Zhilei Zhang and Agit Kabayel's bout could be another.
