Lennox Lewis has shared his opinion on how he thinks a potential undisputed heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk would play out.

Both fighters appeared set to face each other next, but could those plans be thwarted following Fury’s recent challenge to Anthony Joshua for an all-British showdown later this year.

Fury enhanced his status as the world’s best heavyweight with a brutal knockout of Dillian Whyte earlier this year.

He’s since retired multiple times, but it looks like that decision has been reversed as he plots his next move. A fight with Usyk would crown boxing's first ever four belt heavyweight champion, and Lewis, a former division ruler, has backed his fellow Brit.

“I’m a Fury fan right now,” said Lewis when speaking to ESNews.

“I saw him beat Deontay [Wilder] three times and the way that he did it, he told us how he was going to do it. I didn’t believe him the second fight, but I believed him the third fight and I watched him do it. I always say a good big guy can always beat a good small guy.”
