Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr. will have their highly-anticipated rematch Saturday nearly eight months after Smith shocked Eubank via a fourth-round TKO.
And as the time draws closer to their second fight, Smith isn't letting any opportunity slide to verbally jab his rival some more.
The two met on a media call Tuesday, as reported by Fight Hub TV, with Eubank asserting to Smith: "You didn't land a punch for three rounds (in the first fight)" and "I was in front of you, you didn't touch me."
To that, an irked Smith shot back: "You didn't know what day it was when you got stopped.
"If that's domination, you're in a world of trouble."
As the call went on, Eubank promised different results than the TKO loss he suffered back in January.
"It can't go 12 rounds and I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that it's a Chris Eubank Jr. win.
"I was shocked how easy he falls," Smith counterpunched. "I touched him once and he was like Bambi on Ice. I was shocked how much he folded off one right hand, left uppercut, left hook."
Smith added: "He makes too many mistakes and I'll punish him."
