Chris Eubank Jr switching trainers to Brian "BoMac" McIntyre has given him access to Terence Crawford.
On Thursday, as reported by FightHype.com, the undisputed welterweight world champion and pound-for-pound great FaceTimed Eubank ahead of his rematch against Liam Smith this weekend.
During the call, "Bud" imparted some last-minute advice for how Eubank could avenge his fourth-round TKO loss to Smith from January.
"Stay composed, stay relaxed, you know how to fight. Just let it come to you," Crawford, who is also trained by McIntyre, can be seen telling Eubank on the call.
"You don't got to rush nothing. You're more athletic.
"Use your athleticism, fight behind the jab, keep your hands up and just stay focused and you're good."
To that wisdom, Eubank resounded with an energetic, "yes, sir, absolutely, we're on it."
During Thursday's press conference, Eubank also assured Smith that if any side throws in the towel, it's going to be "Beefy's."
The Smith-Eubank rematch takes place at the AO Arena in Manchester, England on Saturday.
