The British pair will settle their differences in Wales tonight.

Liam Williams is facing punishment from the British Boxing Board of Control after saying he would like to ‘kill’ Chris Eubank Jr.

The British pair fight in Cardiff tonight in a middleweight clash that could lead to a title fight for the winner, but for now the issue at hand is settling the bad blood between the two in the ring.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Williams said: “Eubank makes my skin crawl every time I look at him. I deeply dislike the guy. I want to kill him.”

While both fighters have exchanged barbs for some time now, the BBBofC have decided to intervene, reports the newspaper.

The board’s Robert Smith told the paper: “We will be calling Williams in and reprimanding him.

“Those are not the words we want to hear, and even if he meant it metaphorically it is unacceptable for a licensed boxer to say such a thing.

“Boxers are more than aware of the dangers in the sport.

“We will be speaking with him about it after the contest. It’s simply not appropriate.”
