The highly-rated amateur standout will begin his professional journey on Feb. 13 at a storied boxing venue.

Top Rank have confirmed the signing of amateur middleweight standout Troy Isley, who will be co-promoted in the professional ranks by both Top Rank and Antonio Leonard Promotions.

22-year-old Isley, from Alexandria, Virginia, has been boxing since the age of nine and trains under longtime United States amateur coach Kay Koroma. He claimed bronze at the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg, followed by another third-placed medal at the 2019 Pan-American Games in Lima.

He will make his debut on Feb. 13 at Las Vegas' MGM Grand, beneath the main event clash between Joe Smith Jr. and Maxim Vlasov for the vacant WBO light-heavyweight title.

“I’m ready to turn over a new leaf," explained Isley at his unveiling. "I wanted to go to the Olympics, but I did everything an amateur could possibly do.

"I want to hit the pro scene, showcase my talents, and pursue a world title. I naturally have a pro style. I can box when I want to box. If I have to fight on the inside, I can do that as well. I’ve fought every style, so I feel like I’ll be able to adjust to anything.”

Top Rank chairman Bob Arum is confident his firm have landed one of the surefire prospects of the 2020s.

“We’ve been following Troy’s progress, and we believe he’s one of the very best amateurs this country has produced in quite some time,” said Arum.

At amateur level, Isley holds victories over 2016 Olympic gold medalist Arlen López, current junior middleweight contender Israil Madrimov, Austin “Ammo” Williams, Sebastian Fundora, Top Rank stablemate Josue Vargas and lightweight star Devin Haney.
