The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world had the current unified super-middleweight kingpin on the latest episode of his podcast.

Mike Tyson could be back in a boxing ring as early as May, he revealed on the latest episode of his Hotboxin' podcast.

Tyson, 54, made the decision last year to get back into fighting shape for a non-competitive exhibition bout with fellow legend Roy Jones Jr., and the attraction performed very well at the box office.

Because of this, it seemed to be a matter of when, not if, Tyson did it all again. He has been linked with old foe Evander Holyfield, which would complete a trilogy of bouts following their infamous heavyweight title fights in the 1990s.

While speaking to Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, arguably the sport's current top star, on his podcast this week, Tyson cited the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami — the site of Canelo's recent demolition job of mandatory challenger Avni Yildirim — as his targeted venue for his next outing.

"End of May, where you (Canelo) fought, same ring you fought in," he said. "May 29th, May 31, something like that, right where you fought, same ring."

The 29th is a Saturday, and thus the liklier date of the two, though the 31st is Memorial Day in the United States as well as a bank holiday in the UK, as well.

Holyfield recently hinted that Tyson has hesitated in negotiations to revisit their old rivalry, but it seems as though "The Baddest Man On The Planet" has every intention of setting something big up this spring.
