Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul - Former world heavyweight champion names one advantage he thinks Tyson hasDAZN
Tyson could still face Paul this year.

Mike Tyson has an edge over Jake Paul due to the fight being contested over two-minute rounds when the pair eventually clash.

That’s the verdict of James ‘Buster’ Douglas, the man who famously stopped Mike Tyson in 1990 in one of the biggest sporting upsets ever.

Tyson was set to face Paul in July, but the bout has now been put back as Tyson recovers from a medical issue relating to an ulcer.

The New York man has not fought professionally since 2005, but that has not prevented Douglas from backing his former rival.

“The two-minute rounds will be to Mike's advantage for sure, those two minutes will pass quickly,” said Douglas when speaking to Gambling Zone.

“You can get your shots off and then recover. I think Mike will bring that intensity in those two-minute rounds like Mike back in the day.”
