Mikey Garcia ends his 18 month hiatus from the ring on Saturday night against Sandor Martin.

Former multi-weight world champion Mikey Garcia is back in action on Saturday night taking on Sandor Martin in a super-lightweight contest.

This decision by Garcia to move back down to 140lbs is one welcomed by many including Chris Mannix and Sergio Mora on the latest instalment of the DAZN Boxing Show.

"I love the decision by Garcia to move back to 140. I think 140 is about to become a pretty hot division," Mannix said.

"You've got [Regis] Prograis there in the immediate future, maybe Josh Taylor at some point."

According to Mannix, Garcia will be a very appealing opponent at 140lbs with numerous 'big name' lightweights including WBC champion Devin Haney and unified lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez who are contemplating a move to super-lightweight.

"Mikey Garcia is going to be an incredibly appealing opponent for any of those guys at 140 pounds and it really could be a legacy building weight class for Garcia who really didn't spend all that much time there as he was making his way to 147."

When it came to how Saturday night's fight against Martin will play out, Sergio Mora predicts an easy night for Garcia at Chukchansi Park.

"Mikey Garcia, a four division world champion, way above in class when it comes to Sandor Martin."
