Misfits Boxing light heavyweight champion Anthony Taylor is eager to fight Jake Paul, stating that he'll even change divisions to do so.
Taylor is scheduled to face former UFC fighter Darren Till this weekend in the main event of MF & DAZN: X Series 20, with the duo set to face off at catchweight after original Till opponent Tommy Fury exited the bout.
The 35-year-old Taylor's star has risen amid a four-fight winning streak, and he is confident that a bout against Paul, last seen defeating Mike Tyson last year, would draw big interest.
"Absolutely,' Taylor told Action Network. "The demand will be there.
"We have no bad blood between us. It's all love and friendships to the fullest. But I believe it'll be a competitive, fun fight, which the fans will get behind.
"Especially Misfits fans would definitely back me. I’ve been fighting longer than anybody else in the influencing crossover scene. I’ve won against big-name opponents, and I'm also Misfits’ light heavyweight champion, and I'm willing to fight at cruiserweight.
"It doesn’t matter what weight Jake wants to come in at. The people will say, ‘Hey, this is the best resume that Jake can fight.'"
