Natasha Jonas admits she would like to face Katie Taylor once more in her career, but insists she is not looking beyond Lauren Price before their welterweight unification bout.
The two will meet at the Royal Albert Hall in London on March 7, as the former puts her WBC and IBF belts on the line in pursuit of the latter's WBA title to add to her collection.
Jonas has long been touted for another potential bout with Taylor, against whom she has lost at amateur - at the London 2012 Olympic Games - and professional level.
The Irish star is a two-weight world champion across her career, and Jonas feels the lure of another division could pull them back together, but stresses Price comes first too.
“I definitely think being a three-weight champion is something that would entice her, and that's the whole point about keeping the belt," she told The Ring.
"That's why keeping the belt is so important. If you haven't got a belt, you're just a lot of risk with no reward. You've got to have something tangible
"To entice them to want to fight you, whether that's a Katie Taylor fight or a Michaela Meyer rematch, whichever comes after Lauren Price, it's still an undisputed fight.
"I think [Price] thinks that the age and the speed is going to be a factor. She's got a good jab, good feet."
Price, a Tokyo 2020 gold medal winner in the middleweight category, has only fought eight times professionally but could unite several of the sport's major belts if she wins.
American Mayer meanwhile holds the WBO title and remains a likely contender for the winner in an undisputed bout if the occasion arises.
