Just like his grandfather, Nico Ali Walsh can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
The 21-year-old grandson of Muhammad Ali peppered Alejandro Ibarra with a left hook-overhand right combination for a scintillating first-round knockout of Alejandro Ibarra at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
The highlight reel KO improved Ali Walsh's pro record to 5-0 and kicked off the Oscar Valdez-Shakur Stevenson main card in electric fashion.
"Just a testament of all the work that I've put in," Ali Walsh said of the knockout. "Stuff like this happens when you put that work in."
As for the Vegas crowded chanting "Ali! Ali!", Ali Walsh loved every second of it.
"I'm bringing my grandfather back to life," he added.
