Nico Ali Walsh won his fourth professional fight with a second-round stoppage against Jeremiah Yeager.
The win puts his career back on track after he scraped past Reyes Sanchez last month via a majority decision but needed less than two rounds to move past Yeager in Oklahoma at the Tulsa Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Ali Walsh had his opponent down in the second round following a powerful left hand and recreated his grandfather’s ‘Ali shuffle’ before returning with another heavy combination that forced the referee to step in.
Speaking after the fight, Ali Walsh said: "I didn't plan [the Ali Shuffle].
"It was emotional, of course. So much has been going on, but yeah, I didn't plan on doing that. It's just something that happened.
"I think the main thing was staying calm, which I did. Another thing was head movement and defence, which I felt like I did improve on. I fought last month. So if I can make those small improvements in such a short amount of time, who's telling what I can do in my next fight?"
