Oleksandr Usyk doesn't appear to be feeling the effects of his epic battle with Tyson Fury over the weekend.

The men squared off in Saudi Arabia on Saturday to contest the undisputed world heavyweight championship, with the fight going the distance. Usyk claimed a split decision victory to add the WBC belt, previously held by Fury, to his WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles, in a bout that was anything but easy for either fighter.

Fury had the upper hand in the early rounds, but Usyk earned a knockdown in the ninth round that seemingly had the Briton out on his feet. The men then battled for the remainder of the scheduled 12 rounds, with each fighter landing heavy blows on his opponent.

On Monday, Usyk posted a video on Instagram that showed the aftermath of the bout, as he sported bruises around each eye and stitches above his right eye.

Speaking mostly in his native tongue, the 37-year-old Ukrainian addressed his supporters two days after the biggest heavyweight fight of the century so far. Switching to English, Usyk extended his appreciation for those who supported him.

"Hi everybody," Usyk said. "I want to say thank you so much [to] all who support me, who support my country. For me, it's very important. I really appreciate this."
