Oleksandr Usyk has continued his public goading of Tyson Fury as the pair circle one another ahead of an expected undisputed heavyweight clash.

The Ukrainian unified champion holds the IBF, WBA and WBO belts after winning both his fights against Anthony Joshua,  while Fury retained his WBC heavyweight strap after his trilogy rematch against Derek Chisora in December.

Usyk posted a message on social media in response to Fury’s dismissal of him as a ‘middleweight’ given his history as a cruiserweight before stepping up in recent years.

“Hey, belly, I’m coming for you,” Usyk said while in the middle of a training session.

Usyk and Fury are set to confirm the details of a clash in the coming months with Wembley and Saudi Arabia believed to be the frontrunners to hold the event.

The three-belt champion has made it clear that his only target in boxing now is against Fury in order to prove himself to be the best of the division.

Fury, however, has talked up potential clashes against Francis Ngannou and other figures in boxing, whilst also flirting with retirement in 2022.

Fury’s co-promoter Bob Arum has suggested a venue will be confirmed soon, with the fight set to be one of the biggest of 2023.
