The pair will go at it again at the end of 2024.

Dillian Whyte is unsure whether Tyson Fury is able to improve enough to settle his rivalry with Oleksandr Usyk.

Back in May Fury survived a brutal ninth round as he endured a standing count, but he was beaten on the scorecards as Usyk became undisputed heavyweight champion.

The pair are set to clash again on December 21 and it’s not clear what changes Fury can make to gain revenge on the brilliant Ukrainian.

Whyte, who was stopped by Fury in 2022, knows what it takes operate at the highest level of the heavyweight division and he’s had his say on Usyk vs. Fury 2.

“It’s heavyweight boxing so anything is possible, and you can’t write Fury off but maybe these hard fights he’s had have taken a toll on him, you never know,” said Whyte when speaking to IFLTV

"He’s human and he’s had a lot of hard fights, a lot of knockdowns and maybe it’s taken a toll on him and maybe he’s not even bothered or motivated anymore.

"If he trains right, he’s big so stands a chance but Usyk’s self-confidence will be through the roof.

"And before he thought he could outbox him but now he knows he can hurt him, so it’ll be a much more difficult task [for Fury] this time around.”
