Oscar De La Hoya has given an update on when fans can expect Ryan Garcia #return to the ring.
Garcia, despite being just 25 years old, is one of boxing's biggest stars, but he has not fought since being stopped by Gervonta "Tank" Davis in April.
Now after a prolonged period away from boxing, it looks like Garcia's next fight announcement is imminent and De La Hoya is expecting it to take place towards the end of the year.
"Ryan Garcia is coming up; we’re getting his date ready," De La Hoya told DAZN when asked about Garcia's return.
"Mid November, late November, he’ll be back stronger, better, wiser than ever, we’re looking forward to it."
If Garcia does indeed fight in November, expect it to be at super lightweight after the American stated that he will be operating at 140lbs following the loss to Davis which took place at a catchweight.
