With the eagerly anticipated Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight just over a week away, Oscar De La Hoya, the promoter of Garcia, is already thinking about a rematch.
The long-time rivals will finally settle their differences on April 22nd, live on DAZN in multiple regions, and it’s a fight that has the entire boxing world excited.
Garcia has been expertly guided by De La Hoya since turning professional back in 2016 and victory over Davis is certain to propel his profile to an altogether different level.
With the victor likely to be the most in-demand name in boxing, De La Hoya is already plotting a sequel before either fighter goes down a different route without the other.
“You’re going to see the biggest boxing event of the year, and what’s exciting about it is we might have a rematch,” said the former six weight world champion to KO Artist Sports
“Who knows? Depending on the outcome. Once Ryan wins, the tables are going to turn. That’s all I’m going to say.”
