Otto Wallin sees several weaknesses in Dillian Whyte. The Swedish heavyweight, the man who gave Tyson Fury a hard night back in 2019, travels to London to face Whyte on October 30th at the O2 Arena, exclusively live on DAZN.
Since providing Fury with a host of problems, Wallin, who suffered a points loss to the current WBC champion, has responded brilliantly with wins over Travis Kauffman and Dominic Breazeale. Heading into the Whyte contest, Wallin believes he many items to exploit as he aims to make a dent at the business end of the heavyweight division.
“He’s kind of a brawler but he can box a little bit too,” revealed Wallin when speaking to BoxingScene. “He’s got a good left hook and he’s a good body puncher so those are things I’ve got to be aware of. I think that in the long run it takes a toll to have hard fights like that. He’s been knocked out twice and he’s taken a lot of punishment and he’s been hurt in different fights.”
Wallin added, “I think he’s a good fighter, he’s highly ranked. He’s been in a lot of tough fights, and honestly, I think he’s been aging a little bit lately. He’s been in many wars and he’s a good fighter but I think I’m better. I’ve got a lot of tools to work with, I’m intelligent and I’m fresh, so I think that’s to my advantage.”
