Chris Billam-Smith's eagerly anticipated world title defence against Richard Riakporhe will take place this summer and it’ll be held at an iconic venue.
The cruiserweight pair will clash on June 15 at Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park ground with Billam-Smith's WBO cruiserweight title on the line.
The rivals first collided back in 2019 and it was Riakporhe who emerged victorious via a split decision after he was able to drop the Bournemouth man.
Since that loss, Billam-Smith has rebounded brilliantly, and he captured world glory last year when he beat Lawrence Okolie at the Vitality Stadium.
The winner of this bout will be in an ideal position to push forward and chase a potential unification fight with either Jai Opetaia or Mairis Briedis who meet for the vacant IBF title on May 18.
Another option for the victor could be a move to heavyweight to test themselves against some of the biggest names in the sport.
