The junior welterweight fights on DAZN this Saturday.

Richardson Hitchins believes he can be a pound-for-pound great.

The undefeated former Oympian takes on Gustavo Lemos - also unbeaten - on Saturday night, live on DAZN.

The clash is an eliminator for the IBF junior welterweight strap, with the current champion Subriel Matias.

Matias will defend that belt on June 15 against Liam Paro on June 15, also live on DAZN.

Speaking to BoxingScene.com, Hitchins sees greatness in his future.

“I have all the attributes to be a pound-for-pound great,” Hitchins said. “There is not really any ceiling for me, potential-wise.

“My confidence comes from the work I have been putting in for years.

“I have been boxing at a high level since the Olympics and national championships. It is about continuing to work hard and continuing to believe in my skills.”

Hitchins, however, is confident about Saturday’s clash without being complacent.

“He is a strong, aggressive guy,” he added. “If he goes in there and makes a mistake, he is going to see his ass on the canvas.”
