Training with Derrick James has Ryan Garcia feeling confident.
Well, confident enough to issue the following warning to the boxing world:
This follows a post last month that showed "King Ry" putting in the work with James, who also trains the likes of Anthony Joshua, Errol Spence Jr. and Jermell Charlo.
Garcia (23-1, 19 knockouts) hasn't fought since suffering his first professional loss in April at the hands of Gervonta Davis via seventh-round KO.
In addition to James, Garcia has also recently posted on his social media about soaking up fight game from boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.
While an official opponent hasn't been named for Garcia just yet, Oscar De La Hoya did recently tell FightHype.com that his Golden Boy Promotions is "looking to make a huge fight" with the 25-year-old star with a date in November being the target.
Perhaps then, Garcia can begin his "vengeance arc."
