Ryan Garcia's enthralling fight with former Olympian Luke Campbell was the first time the American showed that he could mix it with experienced operators at 135lbs.

At first, things did not look to be going Garcia's way after Campbell knocked down his opponent in round two, but Garcia remained composed and continued to carry out his gameplan.

As the fight progressed, Garcia's power was taking its toll on Campbell and in round seven, a brutal body shot from Garcia forced the British fighter to take a knee on the mat.

It was obvious that Campbell would be unable to continue and the referee stopped the fight.

Ryan Garcia once again made a statement, but this time at super lightweight when he knocked out former world title challenger Javier Fortuna.

In the build-up to the fight, Garcia made it clear that he wanted to produce a highlight reel finish and he did exactly that.

The first of three knockdowns for Garcia came in round four with a left hook to Fortuna's body who took a knee. This was then followed in the next session with another left hook, this time to Fortuna's jaw.

Garcia continued to step up the pressure in the sixth and brought the fight to an end with a left-right-left combination which proved too much for Fortuna.
