Ryan Garcia has declared himself ‘the face of boxing’ after his stunning win over Devin Haney in Las Vegas.
Garcia, a huge underdog going into the fight, dropped Haney three times before being declared a winner on the scorecards.
The fight received widespread mainstream attention and the result has been discussed by numerous stars from a range of sports.
Garcia, already one of boxing’s most popular names, is almost certain to see his profile soar and he’s confirmed that he believes he’s the biggest personality in his sport.
“I am the face of boxing,” said Garcia at the post-fight press conference.
“Confidently, I know I am.”
