Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Caleb Plant faced each other for the first time during fight week at the final press conference and it was a much calmer affair compared to two months ago.
September's press conference saw both men throw punches during the face-off in addition a heated war of words.
Speaking at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Canelo believes Plant will find out what it's really like to share the ring with the WBA, WBC and WBO super-middleweight champion on Saturday night.
"No, nothing. It's different when you're in the ring," Canelo said.
"It's way different, so I don't take nothing from that."
IBF champion Plant was also quick to play down the physical confrontation with Canelo two months ago.
"It wasn't my intention to get under his skin. Then again, I think you guys make a lot more of it than we do."
"I'm sure me and him both have been in worse scuffles than that and I'm sure most people in this room have been in worse scuffles than that."
"Again, like he said, when the bell rings, it's completely different. I don't take anything away from the press conference."
Canelo and Plant meet for the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF super-middleweight titles on Saturday night where the winner will be crowned the undisputed champion at 168lbs.
The Canelo vs. Plant fight will not air on DAZN. However, The DAZN Boxing Show will be in Las Vegas during fight week for live episodes, exclusive interviews and more.
