Former light middleweight champion Sergio Mora believes that Floyd Mayweather’s boxing career will end with the Logan Paul exhibition.
The pay-per-view event saw both fighters last the eight rounds, with some speculation that 44-year-old Mayweather would be back to fight Logan’s brother, Jake Paul.
Mora believes that will not come to pass, though.
Speaking on JABS as part of the DAZN Boxing Show, he said: “No, I think we’ve seen the last of Floyd Mayweather with boxing gloves at 44.
“With those legs against an inexperienced but bigger, naturally stronger, athletic Logan Paul - he’s athletic, he is strong, and takes training seriously - I don't care if he calls it a legalised bank robbery.”
He went on to suggest that Mayweather would now be risking injury with his reduced commitment in training.
“Mayweather is bound to get caught, clipped, it's not going to be a fair fight,” he said.
“It's still punch for punch. One haymaker from a bigger, stronger guy. It only takes one shot. The legs weren’t there, the hunger wasn’t there, he didn’t even train for this.
“I'm fine with him going to Japan to fight kickboxers, join the WWE charade, but as far as boxing with no headgear, I think no more.”
