Shakur Stevenson is aiming to land a number of huge fights in 2024 but first he must deal with the threat of Edwin De Los Santos on November 16.
Stevenson is one of boxing’s brightest talents and after securing world titles in two divisions, the New Jersey man is now aiming to make an impact at lightweight.
Potentially waiting for Stevenson next year is several lucrative showdowns if he can get his hands on the vacant WBC belt against De Los Santos.
Stevenson has long been linked to the likes of Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia, and Gervonta Davis, and he believes a contest against the latter is the biggest fight that can be made.
“I think it’s the biggest fight in the world,” said Stevenson when speaking to BoxingScene.com.
“I think that when it happens it need to be promoted and put out there like that.
“I think that me and him is two of the best fighters in the world. And honestly, I just feel like it should be worldwide. That’ll be the best fight in boxing right now, if you ask me.”
