Montana Love wants a title fight as he targets a big name boxer in his next match, and Ak and Barak are impressed by the undefeated 140lber.

26-year-old Love defeated former IBF super-lightweight champion Ivan Barachyk to maintain his unbeaten record, as part of the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley undercard.

Love won in seven rounds after sending Baranchyk to the canvas, at which point his corner stepped in to take their fighter out of the firing line before the eighth round, with Love already ahead on the scorecards.

"This is a dream come true,” said Love after the fight. “I'm in training everyday thinking about and visualizing this moment. I want to thank Ivan for giving me this opportunity and helping us give the fans a great show.

“We'd been working on that uppercut the whole time during training. The game plan was to move and box him and make him miss. We knew that eventually he was going to open up.”

Davis last fought at 140lbs to win the WBA interim strap from Mario Barrios, while Scotland’s Josh Taylor is the undisputed champion in the division. Love wants either of them.

"Strap me up,” he said.

“We've been working hard and now it's my time. I want Josh Taylor and Gervonta Davis. Line them up and we can make it happen, as soon as possible."

Speaking on the DAZN Boxing Show, Akin ‘Ak’ Reyes believes he’s now at the level where he deserves a shot.

“All credit due to Love for that performance,” he began.

“He called out big names. Hopefully we'll get him on later in the week. And I like it, it's exciting. Gervonta Davis, he'll do other guys at 140, Josh Taylor, he's ready for those guys. That was a hell of a fight.”

Barak Bess was perhaps more impressed, saying: “Oh my goodness, what an incredible performance by Montana Love.

“It was a perfect depiction of when a boxer has enough power to keep the pressure fighter honest. And that's exactly what happened. And eventually, that power that you have beats that pressure fighter, and that's what happened.

“It was a beautiful display of boxing and punching by Montana Love and I look forward to seeing whomever he fights.”
