Aadam Hamed made it three wins from as many bouts as he secured an impressive points victory over Santiago Garces at Wembley Arena.
The son of Naseem Hamed is hoping to emulate the success enjoyed by his father in the late 1990s and he’s made the perfect start to his professional career with an unbeaten first year.
Featuring on the same event that hosted the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois public workouts, Hamed had plenty of eyes on him for his bout against Garces.
Hamed controlled the contest from the outset, and he’ll be eager to get out again as he looks to build his ledger.
During the peak of his run, Hamed was one of boxing’s biggest names as he swiftly moved from the small halls of England to the bright lights of Madison Square Garden and Las Vegas.
Hamed lost only one fight as a professional when going down to Marco Antonio Barrera in 2001 and he would have his final fight against Manuel Calvo the following year.
