The Puerto Rican is eager to face one particular name.

IBF super lightweight champion Subriel Matias has issued a challenge to former title holder Regis Prograis for a fight in the future.

Matias defends his title on Saturday night, live on DAZN, against the undefeated Liam Paro in front of his home fans in Puerto Rico.

The 32-year-old is eager to push on and face the best fighters the super lightweight division has to offer, and one of those is Regis Prograis.

Speaking to DAZN ahead of his meeting with Paro, Matias called out Prograis for a fight and then sent a warning to the American if the two were to go head-to-head.

"I would like to send a message to Regis Prograis," Matias said.

"I told you, if you want to be champion again, please I’m here.

"I’m going to send you to the hospital, I promise you, and Eddie Hearn knows it."

Prograis has not fought since December after he lost his WBC super lightweight title to Devin Haney in San Francisco.
