It will have been 14 months since Gervonta Davis stopped Ryan Garcia, but on June 15, one of boxing's biggest stars will be returning to the ring.
Davis will be defending his WBA lightweight title against Frank Martin live on Prime PPV in the U.S. (click here for more information) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Both men are undefeated, but Davis' punching power, which has been the difference in 27 of his 29 wins as a professional makes him a favourite.
However, WBO super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez believes Martin could inflict the first defeat of Davis' career and he explained how in a recent interview with FightHub TV.
"I think that if Frank Martin goes and presses Tank Davis without showing him any respect then we should see a different type of outing,” Lopez said.
"However, if [Martin] comes in there just respecting the power and the hype behind Gervonta Davis, then I believe it will be an early night for Frank Martin.”
