Teofimo Lopez hits Terence Crawford with this ultimatum for his next fight

Teofimo Lopez hits Terence Crawford with this ultimatum for his next fightDAZN
"The Takeover" has a question for the consensus pound-for-pound best.

Terence Crawford became a four-division world champion over the weekend by delivering a hard-fought unanimous decision over Israil Madrimov.

But Teofimo Lopez wasn't impressed.

"I thought the age would start catching up at like 38, but it happened at 36," Lopez said to Fight Hub TV in jabbing the 36-year-old Crawford about going the distance.

In continuing his quest to land a shot at the undefeated Crawford, Lopez also took to his X social media account and hit the consensus pound-for-pound best with an ultimatum of sorts.

Lopez, the reigning WBO super lightweight world champion, has said that he's willing to move up two weight classes to clash with a 154-pound Crawford, who has said that he's willing to do the same to meet Canelo Alvarez at 168 pounds.

Alvarez spent time Tuesday telling reporters that Crawford should fight Lopez and not him.

Whatever transpires, it has been getting testy between Crawford and Lopez as of late.

When "Bud" sat down with ESPN's SportsCenter to do some word association with boxers recently, Lopez's name evoked a blunt "trash" labeling from Crawford.

Lopez caught wind of the remark and fired back via his social media.

Like Lopez, Jarron Ennis, the IBF welterweight world champion, has also been lobbying for a fight with Crawford.
