Terence Crawford should be ranked as the second-best fighter in the world behind Canelo Alvarez. That’s the verdict of Barak from The DAZN Boxing Show as he expressed his feelings on DAZN News’ most recent P4P list that had Oleksandr Usyk one place above Crawford, who sits in third place.
In September, Usyk caused a shock when he traveled to London and produced a masterclass to relieve Anthony Joshua of three heavyweight titles. The result propelled Usyk up the DAZN P4P rankings, but in November, his position was out under threat when Crawford became the first man to stop Shawn Porter. Barak believes that the Nebraska man should be above the Ukrainian.
“What I don’t like, but I do understand, Terence Crawford has to be at number two,” said Barak on a recent episode of The DAZN Boxing Show. “He’s the most dominant guy in the sport. He’s knocking everybody out. Usyk was undisputed, but so was Crawford. This guy is destroying everybody. How do we knock him down below Usyk?”
