LAS VEGAS — The time has almost come for Terence Crawford and Shawn Porter to step inside the ring on Saturday night for the WBO welterweight title from the Michelob Ultra Arena.
Before Crawford and Porter trade blows, they met one final time at Friday's weigh-in to make the fight official.
While the hatred wasn't there like we saw at the Canelo Alvarez-Caleb Plant or the Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder weigh-ins, things still got intense on the stage.
Porter (31-3, 17 KOs), the former two-time welterweight champion, stepped up to the scale first and weighed in at a ripped 146.6 pounds. Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs) wasted no time making his way to the scale. He made a beeline to the scale and came in at 146.4 pounds.
Porter started flexing his muscles awaiting Crawford. "Bud" wanted to go right into the faceoff, but they had to pose for the cameras first. After a short moment, they faced off, and it got intense.
Crawford stared a hole through Porter like he was ready to fight right now. Finally, Crawford was pulled away but still gave an intent look at Porter before rushing down the stairs.
Here is what happened at the Terence Crawford vs. Shawn Porter weigh-in.
