Two-weight world champion Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez returns to action on November 9 when he makes a defence of his WBC super flyweight title live on DAZN.
The American, who is considered one of the world's best pound-for-pound fighters, will be facing Pedro Guevara in Philadelphia in his second fight of 2024.
Rodriguez has been winning and unifying world titles at a rapid rate, and a win over Guevara should set up what could be a huge 2025 for the 24-year-old.
There is no secret that boxing fans and experts want to see Rodriguez eventually challenge knockout artist and current undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue in what would be a huge contest for the sport, and it could come sooner than later.
Speaking in a DAZN roundtable previewing Rodriguez's fight, Chris Mannix explained how this particular contest could be made and when it could take place.
"He's [Rodriguez] at 115, he's trying to unify, Inoue's at 122, there's got to be a bridge there. He's got to get to 118 pounds," Mannix began.
"But I think that pathway is there. The Pumita Martinez - [Kazuto] Ioka rematch is going to happen in the next couple of months. The winner of that fight is a natural fight for Bam.
"Then you could become a three-belt champion. Don't worry about the fourth belt. Then you move up to 118 and there's a lot of champions out there.
"I think the end of 2025 is where the sweet spot is, Bam Rodriguez will be a four-division world champion and Inoue is the undisputed champion at 122 and they can meet at that weight."
Rodriguez's matchup with Guevara features on an unmissable card which features IBF welterweight champion Jaron Ennis taking on Karen Chukhadzhian in the main event.
