Moses Itauma just gave the boxing world an instant star in the making alert.
The 19-year-old phenom used a clubbing overhand left to drop Demsey McKean twice en-route to an electric first-round knockout in the co-main event of Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and live on DAZN PPV, on Saturday night.
The first knockdown came with 1:45 left in the first round when Itauma snuck in a vicious overhand left that detonated over McKean's ear.
Roughly 30 seconds later, the southpaw launched the same punch to the same violent results as it folded the bigger McKean in half toward the emphatic knockout.
With the punctuating victory, Itauma improves to 11-0 with 9 KOs.
More importantly, the next crop of young heavyweights has a new star to follow and he isn't even 20-years-old yet.
Itauma's meteoric rise can be credited to ultra-busy activity which has included four fights this year and a whopping seven in 2023.
The British heavyweight will be one to certainly watch in 2025 and beyond.
