The sport of boxing is an individual's sport, but triumphs are often celebrated as whole whole and the United States has a lot to celebrate after cementing its position as the country with the most world champions, with 10 fighters holding world title belts. 

The USA was then followed by Japan and Mexico, while England and the Philippines are tied in fourth.

This year the USA starts at the top when it comes to world champions, but will they be able to hold on to top spot after another thrilling 12 months of fights?

USA

United States has the most world champions with 10 world ranging from light heavyweight to super bantamweight.

Japan

Japan are second with seven champions and is a country often associated with the smaller weight classes. The seven champions range from middleweight to light flyweight.
