It didn't take long to get an answer.

Vasiliy Lomachenko was absolutely dominating George Kambosos Jr. when Gervonta Davis made his intentions clear.

In the midst of the Lomachenko-Kambosos fight, "Tank" took to his X social media account and let it be known that he wants a fight with Loma after taking care of his own business June 15 against Frank Martin.

Well, Davis didn't have to wait long to get an answer as Lomachenko would deliver an 11th-round TKO of Kambosos to become the new IBF lightweight world champion.

After his victory, Lomachenko was informed by ESPN of Davis' comments.

"During my boxing career, I never run around," Lomachenko said, suggesting he's up for the fight. "I always take fights."

That said, the 36-year-old said he'd like to spend time with his family and rest a bit before talking more about his next bout.

One boxer who wasn't pleased with Davis' call-out of Lomachenko was Shakur Stevenson who made sure to fire back on his own X account.

Stevenson also criticized Top Rank, which also promotes Loma, for "tryna freeze me out" over its stream on ESPN+ not suggesting Stevenson vs. Lomachenko during Loma's post-fight interview.
