Three possible opponents for Katie Taylor after revenge win over Chantelle Cameron

Three possible opponents for Katie Taylor after revenge win over Chantelle CameronMark Robinson/Matchroom Boxing
Katie Taylor is now an undisputed champion in two weight classes.

Throughout her seven years as a professional boxer, Katie Taylor has been a part of some huge nights not just in women's boxing, but in boxing as a whole.

However, her majority decision win over Chantelle Cameron on Saturday night is one that she has now labelled 'the greatest night of her life'.

After losing to Cameron back in May, Taylor went back to the drawing board and that preparation paid off with her now a reigning undisputed champion at both lightweight and super lightweight.

It's no secret that Taylor wants that dream night at Croke Park in 2024, but if that was to happen, the question will now be who will be in the opposite corner.

DAZN takes a look at three possible candidates below.

Chantelle Cameron

A trilogy fight with Chantelle Cameron next year seems like the logical choice.

With the rivalry standing at one win apiece, Cameron will no doubt want a rematch to secure the four world title belts that made her one of the biggest names in women's boxing.

If a third fight was to be made between Cameron and Katie Taylor, it would be one welcomed with open arms by fans, and if the previous two encounters were anything to go by, there is no doubt that the third will be one to remember and provide a fitting end to a thrilling rivalry.

Amanda Serrano

Whenever it is a Katie Taylor fight week, Amanda Serrano is a name which follows.

After the pair were involved in a history making event at Madison Square Garden last year, there is a clamour to see the two greats go head-to-head once more after a thrilling clash in New York which resulted in Taylor's hand being raised via a split decision.

Serrano has made no secret that she would like to face Taylor for a second time, but maybe the pair can go one step further and face each other over 10 three-minute rounds as alluded to by the Puerto Rican's promoter Jake Paul.

Caroline Dubois

Team GB star Caroline Dubois is being billed as the next big star in women's boxing.

Since turning professional last year, Dubois has won all eight of her fights, with five of those coming by way of knockout, and some believe she is ready to make the step up and challenge for a world title.

Dubois has not shied away from the prospect of facing Katie Taylor, and if the two were to meet, it would be a huge matchup between two former Olympians.

But at the age of 22, there will be questions as to whether Dubois would be able to cope with the circus that surrounds a Taylor fight and not allow it to affect her performance inside the ring.
